The Challenge

The scope covered spool fabrication, vessel installation, pipework, instrumentation and commissioning preparation. Welding and Pipework Execution
With regard to welding, the process used was TIG with inert gas purging using nitrogen. This method is, in fact, the recognised standard for sanitary environments. Because it eliminates oxidation at the weld root, it therefore ensures a clean internal finish, free of roughness and in full compliance with the requirements of the brewing and food processing industries. Furthermore, all mechanical assembly was carried out with interim inspections throughout execution. Consequently, the system was delivered fully documented, validated and ready for immediate start-up.
